SHALINI PRECOAT FILTER is modified
conventional drum filter can be use
where exceptionally clear filtrate is
required. The filter medium is formed
over the surface of filter cloth by
diatomaceous earth or perlite or any
other fine free draining materials.
The precoat layer of such material
catches fine particles gradually
accumulated on upper surface and
increase the fluid resistance so as to
maintain a constant filtering
efficiency / rate of filtration the
upper surface has to be remove by
mechanised scrapper. At the end of the
cycle the scrapper will automatically
retracted and cycle started again. |
