conventional DSM screens has been a
nagging problem to the technologies
and engineers in the sugar industry |

Many a times, the sand problem is
resolved to some extent with the
excessive water washing of cane.
However washing of chopped cane posed
yet another problem of sucrose loss as
well as undesirable increased dextrone
to sucrose ratio. |

The technologists and engineers of
SHALINI did an extensive study of the
problem to arrive at a tangible
solution. After pilot plant studies
followed by full scale field trials
SHALINI IMPEX is pleased to recommend
separation by three stage cycloning
using a battery of juiceclones. |

exclusively designed for the sugar
industry application i.e. separation
of sand fiber from juice, after
extraction at mill house. |

Approximately additional 25 MTs of
bagacillo from a 250 TCH capacity mill
is added on the bagasse blanket every
day. This reduces the problem in the
down the line processing of the
juice. This also minimizes the
coloring matter coming in to the juice
and helps in achieving the sugar
quality matching 50 ICUMSA units. |
